many people carry on as normal and let their anniversary come and go with out any recognision what so ever and over time it is easy to fail to remember to buy anniversary gifts for your loved one to commemorate the day you got married.
Some couples even go as far as to decide not to buy one another presents.
Even when an agreement is made between a wedded couple not to buy anniversary gifts for each other there is a sence of displeasure on both parties sides as the day comes and passes without any recognition by an exchange of romantic gifts.
We are all well aware that each and every anniversary year should be represented by a theme such as wood, paper, silver, ruby etc. however to make your loved one happy you do not necessarily have to abide by these habits.
You should remember that even if you cannot afford to spend money on anniversary gifts that even a plain card will bring a smile to your partners face and it shows that although you could not afford to buy any anniversary gifts you still remember the special day you got wed and it still means enough to you to take some timet to celebrate it.
Rather than agreeing not to buy anniversary gifts for each other if you are indeed keeping an eye on what you spend you could perhaps come to an agreement to limit what you spend on anniversary gifts to say $15 or $20. This way you will not break the bank on lavish and pricey presents for each other.
Also, giving anniversary gifts does not inevitably mean you have to spend any money at all. I definitely would not be far wrong thinking that some couples havesettled into doing specific jobs around the house such as he takes care of the car and she takes care of the food and cleaning.
Why not show how much you appreciate someone by arranging for your partner to go out for a few of hours and while they are away do all the chores they would normally have to do around so that when they come back they are overjoyed to find they can have a break from the same old routine.
This type of gift not only shows how much you care but gives your partner a day to remember
anniversary gifts are a way of remembering the special day you got wed and a reminder to each other how much your beloved still means to you. They are not about who can spend the largest amout of money and out doing last years gesture as like all gifts it’s the simple act of giving that will warm yours partners heart and reminds them how lucky they are to be with you.
